GUSHER
I TELL MY FRIENDS
NO MORE HEROS

Gusher is a dance performance drawn from Panos Cosmatos’ “Beyond The Black Rainbow”, varsity wrestling, Magical girls, and 1960s New Age cultism to create an environment where dystopian identities are shed for post-queer textures and means of embodiment.

Gusher premiered at The Brick  Theater as part of the Exponential Festival in March 2022. A Travel Pack iteration was performed at AUNTS (2021).

Gusher is sponsored, in part, by the Greater New York Arts Development Fund of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, administered by Brooklyn Arts Council (BAC). This project was also supported, in part, by a Foundation for Contemporary Arts Emergency Grant.
